I most definitely do! I’m all about enhances femininity. Being a woman has not always been easy; we didn’t have the respect as we do now. So instead of losing that respect by being vulgar or being the shadow of men, we should work on gaining more respect and do more positive stuff. We are only limited to what we put our minds to, but if we think BIG we will Do Big and succeed more as women.

Two words Raw and Passion!!   It’s just a raw gift I was blessed with and through out my life the passion has grown tremendously!

Lady GaGa Fame…….

6)What made you decide to enter in the Caribbean Dance Hall Queen contest?

I actually wasn't supposed to compete. The night before I got a call from my good friend and manager Melisa Boasman telling me I have to fly out the next morning to compete, because the dancer that had to compete fell out last minute.. I was nervous but I was like “what the heck, let’s do this”

7)What do you think made you win winning the hearts of the judges?

Now being apart of the dancehall society, my main goal is changing image of dancehall. Reminding the world that dancehall is not all about dashing out or soft porn. It’s a form of art!! Especially for my female dancers out there, we can be sexy BUT I have to know how far to take it. Besides being able to dance “sexy” we got to be respected as women. I look up to group such as “UNIK DANCERZ, BLAZING CREW and much more who have been on the same road, I’m heading to now…  Changing that image!

A 55 gallon aquarium over my bed with sharks in it! (Super sexy huh)

St Maarten is crowned Ms Caribbean Dancehall queen 2013.....St Maarten has  great talent
20)What doors have open for you since winning this contest?

Everyone knows me as a dancer; I've been doing this practically all my life. I've had my hands on many door knobs but since this competition I've build that extra confident to now open those doors and see what’s on the other side.  Since that completion I've perform with dancers from Martinique, Guadeloupe.  Did some commercials and there’s much more performances/workshop to experience and to be done.

21)What do you think of men who teaches women how to walk?

Men in general have a better fashion sense than females.  I expect nothing but a “Diva” when being thought by a male teacher.

22)What advice do you have for others looking to follow into your footsteps?

Never give up no matter what, even when it seems to get scary or difficult. I always say “If your goal doesn't scare you just a little bit it isn't BIG ENOUGH”

23)What's the hardest thing about being a dancer?

Having an injury, and knowing that you may not be able to perform right away L

24)What was St. Maarten reaction when you won this contest?

They were all proud, excited and felt well represented. I would walk the street and random people would walk up to me and say congratulation, keeping moving forward.

25)Did you knew you was going to win on that night?

No!  I had no clue what so ever.  Seeing my completion had me a bit nervous but I every time I set foot on that stage I act as if I was the “baddest” around. Lol People always say never under estimate you competition but I tell people never underestimate yourself.  Rise above the occasion…

26)Any last words for our many blog readers world wide?

They say “the sky is the limit” but I say “aim for the universe, beyond the skies”
