Designer Ms Teresa of TCA Mens Couture |
1)Please tell us who you are and what you do for those not familiar with you?
I am a men's fashion designer and I design for men who don't want to wear the uniformed trends of todays fashion. I hope that one day there will be no restrictions on men's fashion.
2)There are so many designers what makes you different from the rest?
I strongly believe that there shouldn't be any gender differences in fashion, men can be as flamboyant, glamorous, sexy and feminine as women. The only option for men to achieve this look currently is to adapt women's clothing which doesn't define their shape properly. My designs incorporate the above philosophy of glamour and beauty but are designed to fit men properly.
3)Describe your personal fashion sense?
I love to wear things that make a statement, both socially and artistically. I also like to invest in good, high quality pieces.
4)How can someone from the other side of the world view your work and learn more about you?
We are about to start a project to redesign our website tcamenscouture.com but we also have a blog tcamenscouture.blogspot.com which has images, reviews and information about upcoming shows. You can also find us on facebook and twitter where we post things that are of interest to us and inspire the designs. If people would like to know more about us they can contact us directly via these platforms.
5)What do you look for in a model who is about to walk the runway with your garments?
In order to represent TCA Men's Couture, models need to be open minded, confident and proud to be different and use their sexuality (whatever it may be) to get over the message.
