Top Leading # 1 Face/body painter Ms Lucinda  Audian known by many as  La Rich
1)Please tell us who you are and what you do for those not familiar with you?

My name is Lucinda Audain better known as, La Rich the Artist. Born and raised in St. Maarten. I am a painter(Face&Bodypainter), spoken word poet and event/stage designer. Most people have come to know me for my face and body art. But for the last year I have been doing more stage and event decor/designing for Artemia an event and décor company, which i work for. I have my own company La Rich Arts & Funtopia by La Rich which is more of event entertainment management. With my degree in business management I have been focusing a lot on Art management seeing that it is needed in our community.

2)What 2 words best describe you as a person?

Resilient and progressive

3)Describe your fashion sense?

I have to laugh at that one. My fashion sense is comfortable. I am always covered in paint. I love urban bohemian swag but still love a black cocktail dress when necessary.

4)There are many doing what your doing what makes you different from all the rest?

I do a little of everything being multi talented it may seem like a lot to many but I am an artist and creating is what I do no matter if i am using words, paint or decor to captivate my audience. To me it’s all the same, just different tools, mediums and disciplines. It’s easy for me to transition from one to the next and even fusion several different skills together. I believe this gives me a bit of an edge because one never really knows what I will come with next and keeps life exciting.

5)Tell us how to started then to this very date?

Being an artist has always been my ambition. I can remember from the age of 6 years I use to steal tubes of paint from my uncle and my moms boyfriend at the time.
And use them to paint abstract images of what I thought were reality. Through the years I became more comfortable with drawing and painting. I took art classes at the St. Maarten Academy during my high school years and also took private lessons from Ruby Bute. I was known in my teenage years for creating portraits and landscapes, which were popular at the various exhibitions, I was featured in.

During my time away at college I didn’t do much painting because of time restraints. It was when I completed my studies i started painting again and La Rich became my artist name and it took off from there and hasn’t stopped since

.

Not much of a booty shaker! I am the tipsy 2step chick that likes being in the center of the dance floor. But for sure Drake start it from the bottom now we here!!!!! Some Konshen

15)What makes a good and bad body painter?

Good Body painters’ don’t just paint a body they connect with their canvas and create magic. There is nothing more fore filling when you capture some essence of that person’s character in your art on their body. Be it for a personal shoot or a event they would rock that painting because it’s them.

It’s hard to say what is a bad body painter but i guess if your line work is isn’t on point and you don’t understand colors and skins tones it can go totally wrong.
