New crowned Ms Jamaica UK 2013 Ms Cherelle-Rose Patterson who have also won the Ms Universe London Pageant 2013 |
1)Please tell us who you are for those not familiar with you?
I'm Cherelle-Rose Patterson the current Miss Jamaica UK and model.
I would say Ambitious as I'm a go getter, always chasing my dreams encouraging myself and others to never give up, and loving, anyone that knows me knows I'm very compassionate and warming,I'm a great listener and always try to be there for others when I can.
I love this question. I like class and sophistication but I also like a bit of sexy, I love clothes that don't show my body but show the shape of my body. I'm in love with bodycon dresses you can dress them up or down and they are flattering.
Beauty Pageants are a platform and stepping stone for any young lady and I have been in pageants before but I really wanted to do one that represented me as a person and who I am. I have a following in the pageant industry from many different backgrounds but I wanted to share a bit of my culture with them.
Honestly when I got there and saw the high standard of girls I thought there is no way I have got this at the same time you can't be negative in these situations so I was having real mixed emotions, but by the end I just couldn't call it at all.
I was myself but a lot of people including judges said I had an amazing smile and innocent charm.
Practice makes perfect, I would say at least 6 months of hardcore preparation. The walk, the talk, the poise and the confidence. Beauty alone will not win you any title you must have the package but most of all that confidence and that presence that captures others.
I love modelling, spending times with friends and family. I'm a big foodie I need my food so I love trying out different restaurants around London especially in Mayfair.
I am a fitness freak and running is a great way to clear your mind body and soul.
Wow that seems so far away but I can say I would of liked to reach most if not all my goals, I definitely want my own home. I'm really interested in becoming an ambassador for a foundation that caters to women who have been victims of domestic violence. And after my reign I want to begin my dentistry course.
I'm such a hard worker and I feel like the world is my oyster now, ill be doing a lot of travelling next year but most of all I am preparing for Miss Jamaica Universe and I am focusing all my energy on it.
It's a great read, it's informative yet creative. It's entertaining and a great networking blog.
It's a fab idea, sometimes it's great to see what a man would like in a women and I think it's a great way to get some inside secrets lol.
Well as I'm British and Jamaican you can have the best of both worlds.but your main dish would be curry mutton, with rice and peas and coleslaw with some coconut water.
Vera wang, class sophistication yet sexy. Really defines a women's inner beauty, the shapes and the detail enhances a women natural beauty.
Coco mademoiselle
I would take out the swimwear round, I don't believe it's significant. I don't believe a women's body should help define whether she is the winner. I think it's all about the confidence no matter what size or shape you are
17)If you was given 2 tickets to fly anywhere in the caribbean which 2 island would you visit and why?
Jamaica of course because its my homeland and I love visiting my family. And Barbados because it looks absolutely divine and I only hear positive things about it.
My smile and my long legs and my mum says I should add my arms lol. I have extremely long limbs.
19)If you could have surgery to change 1 part of your body what would you change and why?
Surgery is not an option.
Jamaica speaks for it self really, our culture is positively and rapidly growing in many parts of the world.its exotic, welcoming and captivating. For anyone that visits it will be an experience of a lifetime.
Jamaica is nature at its best, it's a natural climate, somewhere you can unwind and remember what life is truly about.
Don't enter because you want to dress up you can do that anytime. I think for me I take them so seriously because I've utilised it to build myself a platform and open doors for myself. You have to be smart and also be ready for the politics around it, although it has its positives it has its negatives and you must be ready. Yes have fun and cherish the moments and the friends you will make.
22)Who inspire you most and why?
Mama. Wow what a strong, beautiful women she is. If you want an inspiring story of a women who has been through many ups and downs but still managed to do everything on her own then my mum is that person.
Lol, my mum says I'm very messy but ill leave that there.
I love deep house and funky house and hip hop.
