1)Please tell us who you are and what you do for those not familiar with you?

Hey people! I'm Queen Allen and I'm an Actress that has performed on stage and film, Plus Size Model of print and catwalk and a full time foster carer. 

2)Which words best describe you as a person?

The words that best describe me as a person are determined, loyal, ambitious, loving and hard working. I love a good laugh as well!

3)What perfume are you wearing now as we speak?

I'm wearing The One by Dolce and Gabana. 

4)Your nominated for a BEFFTA award as Best Actress tell us all about that?

I had an amazing year, concentrating on my Acting, and it has been a really successful. I've been in a 3 time sell out play in London, a 4 star reviewed Edinburgh Fringe play as well acted on screen on an advert and short film. 

I feel so honoured that so many people and BEFFTA appreciate my work enough to nominate me for Best Actress. I'm blown away by my nomination.

5)Do you think you will win that award?

I'm in a great category with some really amazing, high profile Actresses so we will see on the night. Just to be in their company is such an experience.

7)What was your reaction when you heard you was nominated?

You could have knocked me over with a feather! I was so pleasantly surprised and humbled by my nomination. It feels so good to have all your hard work recognised and be given the opportunity to reach a wider audience.

8)What advice do you have for aspiring actress/actor out there?

I have been Acting on and off for 19 years (9 years being the longest break) but I always came back to it as it is all that I wanted to do. My advice would be to always keep learning and practising your craft. Live and breathe your passion as it will give you so much joy. To quote David Ackert "Actors are willing to give their entire lives to a moment--to that line, that laugh, that gesture, or that interpretation that will stir the audience's soul."

9)Which British actor/actress aspires you most?

I am a big fan of Idris Elba and Marianne John Baptiste. Their film choices and careers are truly inspirational and attributed to their hard work. 

10)When not working what do you enjoy doing?

I love spending time with my friends and family. I love cooking and entertaining. I also enjoy social media and graphic design. I'm always designing posters and pictures. 

11)Do you think your a true representation on a today's woman?

As a full time carer with many different roles to juggle, I feel that I do my best to be the best kind of woman I can be. I am a multi tasker, ambitious, caring, comfortable and confident in my skin and when I'm out and about, I like to look my best.

12)If you was to walk the red carpet which designer would you wear?

I really love Plus Size designers such as Igigi and Monif C but I'm also a big fan of Asos as well as vintage clothes. 

13)What makes a good actress?

A good actress should be versatile while knowing what their strengths are. I really love good character actresses like Miranda Hart, Michelle Williams, Angela Bassett and too many others to mention. I love watching an actress whose portrayal is so convincing that I get lost in their story. I strive to be of that standard.

14)Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?

I hope to continue be a successful actress as well as have my own media company. I also hope to enjoy my family life with all it's success.

15)Who are your 4 best friends you would ride and die for

My friend Shantelle is also up for a Best Web Series BEFFTA Award for 'Before the Big Time'. My friend Layla whose has been there for me through thick and thin. My friend Michelle who I have so much admiration for as she juggles being a Mum to 3 young kids as well as being a teacher and, of course, my boyfriend Shawn.

16)What would winning this award mean to you?

Winning a BEFFTA would mean that I am recognised and appreciated not only by my peers but by the public as well, which would be a huge honour. I also think it may open some more doors for me as it will raise my profile enormously.

17)Why should people vote for you?

People should vote for me if they have seen and enjoyed my performances and to help me reach a wider audience. I love acting so much and I hope this shows in my performances. It would mean the world to me to be able to make my friends and family proud!

18)If we was a fly on your bedroom wall what would we be shock to see?

My shockingly old fashioned curtains!

19)What are 4 things you love most about a man?

I love it when I can make a man laugh and we have a shared sense of humour. I love easy going men. I love the support you got from the right man, and you gotta love those man hugs!

20)What was some of your best filming experience?

Filming the 'Southside' trailer was a blast as we were like a big family as most of us knew each other from before. Plus there were loads of fight and chase scenes which are always fun.

21)What do you think of men who teaches women to walk?

If you are on top of your game, like Catwalk Professor, then teach on and share your experience.

22)What do you think of fashion police news blog?

I always love reading this blog as the interviews are a great read and it's always good to see what other creative people are up to.

23)Tell us all about you as an actress!!!

I've been acting since I was 16 when I went to the Brit School and did so for 8 years doing mostly stage and theatre in education. I stopped as I got disillusioned with the industry. I started back again 4 years ago as I missed it terribly and I wanted to be a good role model to my sisters, who I have fostered and cared for since 2005. It is much easier now to network and create more opportunities due to the Internet. 

This year has been amazing, especially going to the Edinburgh Fringe with Skyers Productions. I played a crazy Facebook stalker in a 4 star reviewed play called 'Words and Women'. It was a huge stretch to play that character... Honest...

1)Please tell us briefly who you are?

For those of you not familiar with me my name is Catwalk Professor also known as Mr Fierce was born in the caribbean attended modelling school in New York and since moving to UK i have been crowned in 2009,2010 and 2011 as"Best Model Trainer"in the UK...Known as the man who teaches all the women how to walk the runway.

2)Describe your fashion sense?

Well my fashion sense is confident,sexy and not giving a dam what the world thinks.........in plain English we called that"doing me".

3)This year your not in the Race to get that award once more tell us about that?

This year am not in the race to win any award as it's time to give others time to shine winning 3 years in a row is just a true representation of who i am and what i can do.Their are many model trainers out there but their is only 1 CATWALK PROFESSOR that's me.....FULL STOP

4)What's your relationship with the other trainers?

Everyone is doing their own thing and we don't really see face to face.In everything we do we will have people for and against others and that's the same here.Some of them have so much to say about me and my image but all i can say to them is keep hating......all i have for you is love

5)Any words for this years nominees?
Winning an award is great but if you don't have the passion and drive the award is is in no use,win an award and lets see the things that you are doing that represents why you won the award.

6)Not in the race moving to a next chapter how does it feel?
It's sad as i have been there since the BEFFTA first started in 2009 but as i have mentioned am moving on to new things and it's only fair to give the others a chance to show what they have and can do.........I do believe in the saying to be the best you have to beat the best but that's how i feel as i am over confident that if i was in the race once more with th fans base i have no doubt that award was coming back home simple as that.

7)Since winning the BEFFTA would you say it has open doors for you?
Yes it surely has, being able to look anyone in the face  and say yes i am the award winning..........Best gives you that edge over it all.

8)Will you be at this years BEFFTA awards?
Oh yes i will be attending the awards on October 27th 2012 wearing a stunning gown from top designer Aleah Leigh her gowns are so unique.Name of my gown this year is "See through explosion.

9)Any last words for our many blog readers?
I would like everyone to continue to support the BEFFTA awards and support the nominees in all categories show them love and true support like you would show me when i use to be in the race these people are all talented voting has begun please go to www.beffta.com and vote and it's free.

10)How do you feel now that someone else is  carrying the same title like you?
I feel no way as i have mentioned winning the award is one thing but proving yourself to the world is another who ever wins this award needs to prove they have won this award for a reason and the public needs to see things happening....it's like when we select a president will he deliver that what we all are waiting to see....so that person needs the drive and passion if not the value of the award is not valid.

11)My last words to everyone is never let someone tell you that you can't.....when i moved to the UK and wanted that starting drive i was told that i could never compete with the establish model trainers in the UK  look at me now.....once you have the drive,passion nothing can beat that so good luck to all and even if you don't win keep the faith,and believe in your dream.

Their are many model trainers........But their is only one Catwalk Professor just keep that in mind.

Please tell us who you are and what you do for those not familiar with you?
As the world knows am the catwalk professor who is also known as Mr Fierce,i was born in the caribbean on St.Maarten.After winning the starpic model search on St.Maarten i was granted a scholaship to study the art at Ophelia Devore modelling school in New York City where i was awarded"BEST RUNWAY MODEL"at my class graduation and went on to compete in 1999 in Mr Pan Africa USA pageant where i took 1st runner up and later competed in Model of the year catwalk contest in New York which i won(2003)Am now residing in the uk and the crowned"BEST MODEL TRAINER IN THE UK"which was voted at the BEFFTA award,i won this award for 3 years running 2009,2010,2011.Am also a tv personality to ITV2 and MTV known as the man who teaches all the girls how to walk the runway.

2)What inspire you to do what your now doing?
I was inspired by my sister who use to enter in pageants,watching her rehears for shows i loved it and decided this is what i want to do.

3)What few words best describe you as a person?
outspoken.....funny......loving

4)Some people say your such a DIVA and B*tch how true is that?
I really don't give a flying F*ck what anyone says are think i dont settle for less i have work hard to get this far, for anyone to want to take me for a ride.My confidence might scare people away but hey.....Say what you feel like saying i stand for what i believe......,

5)There are so many model trainers out there who would you say is your competition?
Whats that word.......There is only one catwalk professor that's me and their is no other get that printed in your skull.

6)Are you dating are seeing anyone?
If i am seeing anyone yes are no that's my business the only person who would know would be my best friend which is my sister....if you want to know go ask her.

7)People may think your a party animal are you?
Lots of people think i party around the clock but i don't i love staying home on my computer and having snacks to munch on.....going out and all that rubbish i have passed that age,am happy being at home love it.

8)What is one thing you dislike ?
people talking behind my back and scared to tell me what ever they have to say....i call that cowards....talking behind my back and texting gossips about me.....get some guts and face me and whats funny when they see you face to face its all smiles you dum F*CK.

9)What food do you love eating?
I love chinese and soul food like my mom cooking and sister.

10)What type of person would you be attracted to?
lolol you love minding my business don't you ok here we go...i like someone to make me laugh,someone who can love me for me and someone who reminds me of myself.....long distance i just and will never do i need to feel that love near me.

11)Describe your image?
Sexy.....Fierce.....confident

12)We see you are very much into black red those that have a meaning?
Yes it does....black for the proud black man that i am that i can look anyone in the face and say yes i am the man who teaches all the girls how to walk.......red is for the determination that runs through my veins making me want more and more as i climb for the top.


13)What is your relationship with your family?
I love my family so much not forgetting the 4 ladies in my life....My mom margie sebastien.....my sister maggie mathew........My niece d'shnay York and my little princess my niece Distiny...love them to dam much and am so bless to have such a wonderful family who are number one fans to what i do.

14)If one day your to give this all up who would you like to see taking your spot?
It would be such a great feeling to see my niece taking over my spot in what i now do....D'shnay or destinay

15)What would you say is your best assets?
I would say everything god don't make ugly o am loving everything about me no changes needed.

16)If you was given 1 ticket to fly any where where would you fly to?
To make a long story short i really want to go to africa.

17)If you was to stay home on valentines with a lover what would you cook and wear?
Oh my god i would wear just an apron and i would cook rice and peas,plantain,stew chicken with macaroni pie with a big glass of passion fruit juice....HELLLLLO


18)Every time we see you,your so fierce who does your make up and fashion styling?
My make up is done by Karen Salandy and i do my own styling as i can express how i feel coming from within.

19)Did you ever thought in a million years who would reach this far?
I believe in myself and work hard so all this is no suprise to me and most of all i have faith which my mom always tought me from small saying if you want someone thing keep the faith it might take 10 years,5 years but if you have fiath it can and will happen
